高屏六堆地區客家教育人物-以李添春、鍾國珍、徐傍興、溫興春為線索之考察 

摘要

高屏六堆地區,是承載客家文化的重鎮,保留了相當多以教育為中心的敬文重教文化,有其特色。他們往往以接受高等教育作為個人潛能開展的憑藉,並以從事教育工作作為服務桑梓、奉獻社稷的媒介,體現出一種注重內在價值的文化精神,而有別於工商掛帥、唯經濟功利是瞻的傾向。出生於高雄美濃的李添春、俯仰於屏東內埔的鍾國珍、徐傍興,以及屏東高樹人溫興春等四位,都有豐碩的教育實踐與教育理念,可為高屏六堆地區客家典範的教育人物。截至目前,雖已有一些研究論著關注此一課題,但仍有進一步探析的空間。本研究以文本分析法為主,輔以歷史研究法,分別梳理李添春、鍾國珍、徐傍興、溫興春等四人的教育志業,剖析他們的教育思想內涵,最後提出結論。本文發現他們四人或成長於日治時期的南臺灣六堆地區,或是剿匪、抗戰時空下的中國福建武平,各有不同的學經歷。戰後,他們均致力於臺灣各級學校教育工作,孜孜踐行教育專業與師道精神,堪稱都是教育達人。

The Liu Dui Hakka area of Kaohsiung and Pingtung is the Hakka cultural quarter which preserves a large amount of characteristic culture centered on education. The educational figures tend to receive advanced education to develop the personal potentials, devote their life to the educational career to serve their hometown and contribute to the society, and show the cultural spirit emphasizing the inner value, which is different from the utilitarian trend in the industrial and commercial society.

Li Tian-chun, born at Meinong, Kaohsiung, Zhong Guo-zhen, and Xu Pang-xing inhabiting at Neipu, Pingtung, and Wen Xing-chun from Gaoshu, Pingtung are all experienced in educational practice and concepts and can be regarded as the educational role models at the Liu Dui Hakka Area of Kaohsiung and Pingtung. Up to date, there have been some research papers concerning this issue. However, there is still the space for further discussion. The study mainly adopts the textual analysis, and the historical research will serve as a support to organize the educational career of the four persons, analyze their educational thinking and contents, and finally make the conclusion. The study has found that the four persons growing up at the Liu Dui Area in the southern Taiwan in the Japanese ruling period or at Wuping, Fujian, China have different educational backgrounds and life experiences. After the war, they were all devoted to education in the schools of different levels in Taiwan. Their efforts in the educational profession and teaching spirit make them educational masters.
