摘要

本文將以新加坡南洋客屬總會為例子，從南洋客屬總會過去所出版的五本會刊，東南亞華人的政治認同與文化認同如何影響東南亞客家認同；同時客家認同的變化過程，又如何反映了當時正在進行的國家塑造過程與國家社會工程。此外，本文也引用王賡武的東南亞華人多元認同理論來檢視東南亞客家認同，並藉此討論此理論如何運用於東南亞客家認同的研究。

In the article, five anniversary souvenir magazines of the the Nanyang Khek Community Guild, Singapore, will be analyzed, in order to discuss how national and cultural identity of Southeast Asian Chinese have been affecting and changing the Hakka identity of Southeast Asian Hakkas between 1939 and 2009. The process also reflects how the creation of new nation affects the Hakka identity of Southeast Asian Hakka. Moreover, Wang Gungwu’s study of identities in Southeast Asian Chinese is applied in the article, and discuss how to apply it on the study of identities of Southeast Asian Hakkas.
